Ingolfson
Hi! Even though I am still beginning to play the game, I already have a 'wish list' of things that would make a great game even better. What should be included the next incarnation of this game? My own list to start: 1) A 'power' bar that allows me to see how much 'oomph' I already have in my swing. I suspect I always wait too long, and so get fewer attacks. 2) A way to put back an already nocked arrow. 3) A spyglass or magical 'zoom' (like in 'Deus Ex') 4) A little more/smaller polygons (I know, graphics cards can go only so far... :bye: ) 5) Dialogue more in the 'Fallout'-Style (i.e. you actually SAY something yourself instead of only selecting options, sometimes you get several options/attitudes which directly influence the others opinion of you). 6) Maybe: Ability to let your character(s) fight with a script that you define, thus allowing a multiple PC-party in a single-player campaign. Okay. I'd like your comments, as well as your own ideas/wishes!
MajKrAzAm
3) A spyglass or magical 'zoom' (like in 'Deus Ex') The zoom thing was a augmentation in Deus Ex so what you want to have augs in the game? -MajKrAzAm
loveme4whoiam
I think all the things you have asked for are on my wish list as well; the power bar i'm not so sure about, because it might get a bit intrusive. The spyglass would be nice, but would really be taxing graphics cards to the limit; the reason, i suspect, why Bethesda didnt include it in MW. It would have to work by extending the draw distance within a small area, but i dont have the tech knowledge to say that with any authority. I have a couple things of my own to add. 1. A slightly more RP feel to the game, as talked about in a thread started by ILikeMorrowind, i think. A less combat oriented gameplay, but i doubt that would actually be included, for the reasons i stated in that thread. 2. A much better combat system (despite what i just posted above). The only big critism i have of MW was the basic combat. 3. More social interaction, which possibly comes under the #1. 4. A more newbie-friendly editor (let the anger commence). As a first-time modder, ive been experiencing the joys of hard-core scripting for the past two weeks :nazgul: Apart from that, just to build on what made MW such a class game. Ingolfson
The zoom thing was an augmentation in Deus Ex so what you want to have augs in the game? -MajKrAzAmNot necessarily. Just something to let you 'look ahead'. Or maybe a 'scrying spell' as well (maybe there even is one in the game, I have only three spells so far ;-) But augmentation? Why not? Magical permanent tatoos anyone?
DragoonFurey
Zoom on crossbows and longbows would be verry nice, As would a combat system that involves more then just clicking the mouse. id also like to see a enhanced sneaking system were you can cling to walls and ledges, and crouch behind objects and such. i think being able to court any npc you want to would be cool too ^_^ the ability to create your own comments in your journal would be cool too. SilvuruAgnost
I woud like a new race (may sound stupid) the gnome. If anyone is playing dungeons and dragons (a roleplaying game) well there is the race "Gnome". and they are so cool :P
Smashy
Yes, Silvuru Agnost gnomes are awsome! they make far better scorcers and wizards than any altmer would or could be any day, they also just have suc have such a profetional feel t o everything they do (accept meele combat...). but ive neetly given up hope on the elder scrolls... sure the first one was a brakethrough in rpg video games.... but the static world and inhabitants works the nerves a lil not to mention the entire lack of children, im lookin foreward to fable (march 1st! yea!!), but never the less i cannot abandon the elder scrolls, despite its static nature, ever liveing supply of guards, and compleate absence of youth from society its a very well put together game, but what i would love to see in a new elder scrolls would be as follows..... no respawn for any npc no leveled items or creatures, just everything as it is NO MORE TOOTH PICK TREES! more diverse wild life, not just mindless killing macheins that inhabit the world ability to make an adventureing party more useful races like dwarf, drow, or human bizare races that are harder to use and level up but compensate with awsome abilities, exsamples: trolls, draconians, beastmen, or half breeds like hald dragons, half feinds, treiflings, etc. more reilistic life, eg need to eat sleep drink etc schedualed npcs, it gets tireing to see fargoth sitting in the same spot every day addition of children to morrowind, and the ability to start as one i think ill end my rant here.... :ranting:
