Alt-Tabbing without Skyrim Pausing?

First off I apologize if this has been addressed before. I searched around on the forums but was not able to find any relevant information.

So I am playing Skyrim in windowed mode because I like to alt-tab (to a movie, UESP, TesNexus, etc) during long loading screens or while waiting for an NPC. The only problem is Skyrim apparently doesn't want me to miss anything because it patiently waits for me to tab back before it continues with gameplay. Is there anyway to make the game run even while tabbed out? I know it's not as simple as changing a few .ini settings, but maybe there is a mod or cracked .exe that will allow this sort of behavior?

Thank you in advance for the help!

as far as I know alt-tabbing automatically pauses the process whenever possible as a function within the game mechanics. Unless I'm mistaken. I wish it would alt+tab from fullscreen a lil better.

Right, is there anyway to skirt around this behavior though?

I've never heard of a way around it, but I've noticed some programs continue even if you alt-tab it. So I assume it's just the way it's coded. Unless someone can prove me wrong, of course i have no way to prove it.

Well it's definitely the way the game was coded. The game doesn't actually freeze when tabbed out, it's still running. It's just that everything is paused. Bethesda games are actually one of the few games I've encountered that do this. My guess is that the only way around it would be a cracked .exe (if it's even possible at all).
