LionusImperial
Firstly - please excuse my ignorance. This is the only Elder Scrolls game I have played, so I am completely unfamiliar with the mods created for earlier games in the series. So pardon me if what I'm suggesting has already been well covered elsewhere, or is impossible to achieve. What I would like to see is: -Many outdoor vendors in one area, creating a proper Market. Rather than the 3 or so in a city now, could there be 30?-Vendors who sell the same type of items as others, would vary over price and quality. -Possibly influenced by supply and demand, suddenly all those brooms you have are worth 100G each, due to the great broom crisis of 4E 210.-Vendors treat you differently depending on race, or other attribute (not sure if this is actually part of the game anyway). ogridum
Right now, vendors have a list of items they can have, each item has a % of chance to appear and amount, its based on player level. The amount of gold the vendor has also is given automatically from thin air. Everything just spawns into the world, vendors restock, areas respawn, animals dont give birth, neither the world has a limited number of things. The world is not a perfect simulation. There is no DEMAND, except for what the player needs. Nobodies besides the player buy things, and the things they buy are only derived from what the player sells. The economic is not organic. I understand, I didn't realise that the items were independent of the vendors.
