They had their own armor set in Oblivon in the DLC "Knights of the Nine", you can read the story of Pelinal Whitestrake, the original owner of the armor in Skyrim. It should make a return.

Nah.

DLC based around Talos that introduces the armor of Tiber Septium or something would be much more lore friendly. There is already way way to much stuff from Oblivion some how being tossed in a river and flowing into Skyrim. I swear Skyrims become the dumping ground for all of Cyrodill's magic artifects.

The thing about mods are, that they don't have to be lore-friendly at all. That is the beauty of them. Mods are made to enhance the experience of the player so if someone wants to say, make a cult of Talos or something with I don't know, purified daedric armor (aedric) then they can go for it. I'm just suggesting this because I thimk it would look amazing to have even a recoloured and textured daedric set, just because it looks awesome. I can't make the mods, so I can suggest them at the very least. I appreciate your idea but if an idea is valid, it shouldn't just be dismissed like it's nothing.

The Armor of Tiber Septim was in Oblivion, it was used to open the gate to Mankar Camoran's Paradise. It was likely still in Cloud Ruler Temple when it was sacked, though there could be a story that says Esbern somehow smuggled it out of Cyrodiil along with some of the other artifacts from the temple before it was sacked, but he lost them along the way and they are likely in the hands of the Thalmor or bandits, or other random non-creature enemy.

Heh, well there has been suggestions that we may get to travel to places outside of Skyrim in DLC, and it wouldn't be the first time thats happened. Anyway, it feels rather sad that Talos, a main aspect of Skyrim, seems to get so little time. I do agree that something regarding the Aedric gods needs to be present. While skyrim is less about Daedric Vs Aedric (That was Oblivion after all), the lack of influential presence from Aedric dieties in Skyrim does feel like an oversight.

I'm of the opinion personally that the creation of something new over the return or something old is generally the better path. Creativity and such,

yeah besides the whole preachers of talos yelling at everyone in the cities, there really wasnt much of anything. O yeah you had to get the amulet of Arkay from some hall of the dead for a priest, I forgot they do have aedra quests.... (<-extreme sarcasm)

I definitely think its a great idea, but dont make it heavy armor, aedric should be light armor, of an equal tier to daedric armor. slightly heavier than dragonscale, but with better protection as well. maybe something sort of like a cross between elven armor and daedric in appearance, in whites primary color and blue veining? and what about aedric weapons? should they be available as well, after all, aedric armor with a daedric sword would seem wierd. again, im thinking a cross between elven, and daedric weapons, just the daedric weaps from morrowind. the main differences would be that aedric items should have tons of symmetrycal angles and views
