CK crashes when trying to interact with Face Paints/Tattoos in HumanRace

For my first ever attempt at trying to mod any game I decided to try and add some tattoos or face paints to FO4.

 

I was following this tutorial;

 

I had everything sorted, but as soon as I click on "Face Paints" or "Tattoos" the Creation Kit will stop responding and crash.

When I reopen it and get back to the same point, I get the error;

"FORMS: Attempted to instantiate a character tint editor without valid race tinting data."

(Characters > Race > HumanRace > Tinting > Face Paints > *crashes*)

 

Sorry if this is pretty vague, but I don't have any idea what's going wrong with it.
