Johooh
Hi! I really want to put in some mods to my game but I have it on Steam. Is it possible to get mods anyway, and if it is: How do I do it? For instance, I want to add the "Enhanced Night Skyrim" mod but I cant find the texture/sky folder? HELP ME PLEASE! liag247
Everyone who hasn't pirated has the game on Steam. Your textures directory should be found in Steam\steamapps\common\skyrim\Data.
Johooh
Ok, I've found that folder but there is no texture folder in there? Should I just copy the folders from the mod into the Data folder?

Uzibeatle
yeah. All mods (virtually all) will end up in Data.esp .bsa are in the Data directory textures, meshes, sounds, UI and others are all subdirectories . So if mod has archive tree inside /textures/otherstuffhere/etc you just unzip to DATA or copy the textures tree to the data dir. I recommend though to unzip to a temp dir and copy manually.I always inspect any mod I install first. example of a directory tree from FNV DATA directory is (first level dir tree only)would look like this. dir /og 11/02/2011 09:22 AM <DIR> .11/02/2011 09:22 AM <DIR> ..11/02/2011 08:54 AM <DIR> textures05/25/2011 11:22 PM <DIR> Sound05/25/2011 11:21 PM <DIR> Shaders09/18/2011 10:10 AM <DIR> Music10/01/2011 06:07 PM <DIR> meshes09/17/2011 06:47 PM <DIR> Menus Relevant mods will end up in those subdirectories.
