natelovesyou Posted November 22, 2011 Posted November 22, 2011 I did it. I also changed sprint to Shift, sneak to Ctrl, walk to Alt, and shouts/powers to the middle mouse button (M3). SO MUCH BETTER. I also used the side buttons on my mouse (M4 and M5) for quick inventory and quick magic, and changed quick map to B and quick skills menu to G. Man, it was so good to finally figure out a setup that works. The default was utter sh*t.

But it's way more logical to have left button for left hand, and the other button for the other left. ;) Good tip on the shouts button @natelovesyou :thumbsup: Edit: Original poster: you should do a poll, to keep an eye on this. Oh good idea about that poll, unfortunatelly I have never tried that and have no idea how to do it. I'll check when I get back home from work. And.. ehm yeah good tip about those other keys @natelovesyou. I dunno why I haven't thought about it at all and I have already played 100 hours... Just followed blindly the default setup. I gotta rethink this. (PS: Rethink is our new company policy) ;)
Ashbean Posted November 22, 2011 Posted November 22, 2011 i almost changed it at the start, but thought better of it- i find it's easier to think of it as "mainhand/offhand" rather than "lefthand/righthand"
Naaitz Posted November 23, 2011 Posted November 23, 2011 i did that, aswell as adding shouts/powers to the middle mouse button. a few accidents with the bow, but im used to it now :)
peteed1985 Posted November 23, 2011 Posted November 23, 2011 I left it as is because when I swap to weapon and a shield at times attacking with right mouse button and blocking with left just felt weird.
