I need ALL ENEMIES to be MUCH STRONGER

Okay i dl'ed FO4edit and i tried to increase the deathclaws health and damage but no matter what i did i seemed to be killing them just as fast (i quicksaved it while fighting a mythic deathclaw so i could test it out). I don't know if i hit some "cap" in terms of heatlh or damage but it didn't work. Nonetheless, i wan't to say i have NO MODS in the game to modify the weapons, all my weapons ARE built up using the workbench (with the highest and best attachments you can get on all my weapons), but they are still the weapons in the game by default, built with what the game provided, Also i have managed to find legendary versions of all the weapons i use. With that being said, i took out a Deathclaw Matriach with my assault rifle (which has the explosive effect on it) using maybe 30 or 40 rounds, and the deathclaw didn't even touch me...... I know it sounds odd, but i would like the enemies to be more difficult, i don't like being able to take out a deathclaw in a matter of seconds without taking any damage at all. Thus as you can imagine with deathclaws being no trouble at all, every single other enemy is basically just tickling me.....

I don't wan't to pull down the damage on my weapons, as they are the weapons the game provided, using the accesories available in game. I'm not sure if i just found versions of the weapons i use with really good legendary effects on them, but being able to DECIMATE any and all enemies, regardless of how many there are, is boring. I already tried the few mods i could find to make enemies more difficult and even with those, enemies are still just specs of dust to wipe away.

I realize that asking for all enemies to be adjusted is a lot to ask for but, with no external mods on my weapons and the difficulty on survival i shouldn't be so close to invincible (which i pretty much am). If someone please could help me with this i would really be grateful. If it were to be related to enemy health, i would say all enemies would need to have AT LEAST 6x the dedault (yes i am implying 600%) however an alternative approach would be to make it so enemies simply have higher damage resistance. Either way i was hoping for enemies to be at least 6 or more times better. Whether that means they have more health or they take less damage, i dont really care. Its just very unenjoyable to obliterate everything in the game, it completely removes the challenge.

Anyways if anyone who could help me out with this i would really appreciate it, thanks guys for all the hard work you put into making this game more awesome than it already is, keep kicking ass :)

The problem is that the player perks are too overpowered in Fallout 4 compared to previous games. You can select perks that give 20%x5 = 100% boost to damage to your weapon of choice. For comparison the similar perks in Fallout New Vegas (Cowboy and Grunt) had a single rank giving only 25%, and even nerfed later by the lead game designer in his unofficial patch http://fallout.gamepedia.com/JSawyer.

The second problem is that the player has too much HP in overall, especially gained per level, multiplied by the fact that levels are prentiful in Fallout 4 turning player into a walking tank. This was also nerfed in New Vegas to be +5hp per level only.

Bethesda cater for casual public and thus made this game an easy experience. If you want a harder game, it is more appropriate to overhaul player perks with some sense instead of making all enemies even stronger, like changing damage boosting perks to +5% instead of +20% per rank and lowering player's HP to be more inline with previous games.

So what should i do? Since i didn't realize that the "minutemen settlement" quest's AS WELL as both the "quarter mastery" and "cleansing the commonwealth" quests for the brotherhood are actually never-ending i have done A LOOOOT of those quests while somewhat avoiding the main questline of the game so far. Thus i am already level 90 or so i believe and have almost every perk up to level 7, albeit they are not all at the highest level but still. I tried adjusting the health and damage of deathclaws using FO4edit and no matter what i did it DID NOT seem to reflect that the change had been made in game. I thought i might just have much more powerful guns than i actually realize, but after testing this by giving a deathclaw 300,000 health and STILL killing it just as easily, it was apparent that the changes i had made weren't working.

Basically what i am needing is for the enemy health to be greatly increased or their damage resistance to be greatly increased. If i thought i could do this using fo4edit myself i would, but after 3 hours of trying to adjust deathclaws, OBVIOUSLY i am doing something wrong, and yes i am aware of how to use fo4edit, making esp files based of the master esm, saving those files, properly loading the mods into the plugin list, etc...

I was just hoping that someone who knew what they were doing would be able to help me out with this :(

I'll probably release my personal tweaks mod as mentioned above soon, but for now you can try this mod that brings back Damage Threshold from New Vegas http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/10060 as it should give a lot of damage resistance to all creatures and NPCs wearing armour.

Looks like you already have FO4Edit and some experience with it, so it shouldn't be much trouble for you to run.

Avoid using strong armours and weapons, "nerf" yourself on purpose.

If you are using custom weapons/weapons, nerf their stats if needed since mod authors like to make them overpowered compared to vanilla ones.
