Spell creation anyone?

The only thing that even slightly disappointed me about this game, no spell creation, I assume this'll be more possible once creation kit is released, either some kind of create spell then whack it in the game, or if someone wants to go the whole hog what'd really be cool would be to add a new room to winterhold college with an oblivion style spell altar, or stick one in the hall of elements/archmages quarters. Also, while we're at it, why not bring back jump + slowfall, my favourite parkour spells.

I'll all for this as long as it's balanced with the spells already available in game. Also it MUST come with a prune spell from spellbook feature, perhaps putting it into a spell tome for safe keeping. This would prevent the spell book from getting too clogged like it did in Oblivion sometimes. Edited by Logiwink

Quite a few good topics for this already, there was one which had it really thought out how spell creation would work with the new spell types system (eg. runes, cloaks, AoE, projectiles, cone etc.)

can u link cos i looked but couldnt really see any that stood out

It would be awesome to see a kind of magicka approach to spells too, like a flames and frostbite used together could make a steam jet like a dwemer centurion does.

Flame and lightning could create a “plasma” jet. (Note: No scientific basis here)
