james975
Quick question Your guide worked perfectly blankslate, I did everything as you outlined and MS Prompt confirmed the encoding to XMW when I pressed enter. Here's my question: Where is the new XMW file? It's not in the ..../x86 folder where I placed the original .wav file and the .wav file is still a.wav file, not a XMW. I have no idea where to find it. Thanks in advance.

kamranicus
Just FYI, somebody uploaded xwmaencode to MediaFire: http://www.mediafire.com/?zccl8d89un4e4e0 I downloaded that without the SDK and it worked like a charm!
Falconsflight
is there a way to convert multiple files rather than just one at a time?
MorwynKelm
Write a batch file or you might try wildcards although I doubt this primitive app supports that. Batch is your best bet.

Hattix
Is this for adding music or for replacing music? Both. Skyrim can use the XWMA format (it's a type of RIFF WAV identified as XWMA with WMAv2 bitstream), so music can be replaced in this format, as well as added to the game. Falconsflight
It would be really helpful if someone could write a batch to convert multiple .xwm to .wav, I would really really really appreciate it.
