[Request] Lock keyboard style item info, steam controller issue

So I use the steam controller and its great, one issue thats really anoying is that i have my potions 1-4 set on my pad, and some other keys on the controller that read as keyboard keys. Anytime I press a button on my controller that is a keyboard key, my HUD changes to the keyboard layout. When I use actual gamepad buttons, like moving and looking around, the HUD switched to gamepad style. Its Super anoying and was wondering if you can lock it so the postion of the items always stay vertical 1-4, in keyboard layout.
