lessthan3
Since the game does actually have a calendar, I think it would benefit from having seasons. It would most likely require a lot of reskinning to make every area have summer, fall, winter, and spring and gradually fade between them. But the result would be amazing. It's a herculean task, I know, but I'm just putting it out there as a possiblity. All input is welcome.
duckdude
Possible? Yes. Hard? Yes. Would probably require the Script extender to change the textures/meshes as teh calender goes by. Probably one would have to change between many sets of textures, summer, winter, fall, spring, and the inbetweens.
Terralventhe
The best solution for changing the textures, perhaps, would be to do so whilst you're indoors or something. Kinda like how during the Ill Met by Moonlight quest when you enter the grove suddenly the skybox changes to show a red moon and such. So basically as you progress from winter to spring, each time you enter and leave indoor locations as days go by, it takes the opportunity to change out the textures so it's not doing it while you're there on the spot. 'Course, I have no idea how simple such a thing would be.
