Vigor Tester Not Working

I almost got new vegas off the ground and running, but now I'm having a weird problem.

I created my character, walked over to the vigor tester... but the only button that works is the minus button, and that button makes the stats go UP. Since I can't go left or right, I can't just up one stat all the way and leave (since I can redo special stats after I leave Goodsprings)

 

Some googling shows that one other person had the same problem, but they didn't list their mods, and they solved it by deleting EVERYTHING and reinstalling, which I really.... really don't want to do

Figured it out, gonna explain what I did for posterity, god forbid anyone else ever has this problem and then finds this post.

 

The clickable areas of the buttons were moved down an inch, which made the minus button appear to add points to the stats. if you click a little below that, you will find the rest of the clickable areas for the other buttons. No idea what caused it, but the only thing that seems affected is the vigor tester, so whatever!

You have several HUD-UI-Menu mods installed, including Darnified UI (which is likely the reason for your "offset buttons"). The order in which you install them and add similar XML files is important to avoid similar problems. Please read the wiki article "HUD-UI-Menu Issues" for the cause and solutions.
