Aegrus
I'm a bit confused right now. I was expecting my copy of Skyrim to be destroyed by Steam, yet it runs exactly as it did before. I never even had a download screen or anything. Do I manually have to go to Steam and download the patch? Will it just start to download randomly? Anyone know what's up? elopjd
I don't know what could have happened, but if it REALLY didn't download it at this point, don't do it, save your game, don't download today's "patch"
Aegrus
Wait, if the patch wasn't downloaded on my pc, doesn't that mean that some mods made for versions with the patch won't work for me?
kivespussi
Wait, if the patch wasn't downloaded on my pc, doesn't that mean that some mods made for versions with the patch won't work for me? Might depend purely on how extensive the mod insides are and how closely the added / tweaked things are connected with the old & new .exe , dll tweaks are one's that can go bonkers with exe updates. LuDux
No, it's the /patch/ that breaks the mods. Be wary.
