SyberSmoke
After reading several books in the game I have come to wonder why humans have not altered the designs of certain armors to fit their needs. In one book it tells of how a slave of an elven forge master escaped and gave the secret of their armor to the human race. In another book, it was talked about how the Dwemer fielded a suit of Heavy armor, when before their norm was light. So why are there not light variants of Dwarven, Ebony, Orc...ok may be not orc, etc. And why is scale armor leather, when there could be Elven Scale, Glass Scale, and even Dwarven and Ebony versions? What I am requesting is a series of re-textures and armor items that fill out the armor classes. This can include Elven Plate Armor, Elven Scale Armor, Ebony Scale or Chain armor, Dwemer Light armor, Dwemer Scale armor (Human variant using leather backing), and so on. I am not after these being ultimate armors, just variants that have a different style and look. May be the Ebony Scale has cool looking Shoulder Guards like the Steel half plate. So there it is the thought I had while I read books in the game. May be they can be tied to your skill in armor craft...not just the points you invest. Or are recipes like spell books that you find and unlock...that would change armor craft allot if you did not need to spend level points to learn new variants. Heh, be interesting as missions from blacksmiths. Sorry rambling...discuss.
