ninjaguy1337
In a moment of brilliance.. the shield isn't gender - oriented. I'll do it first and see if you like the color scheme.
Terralventhe
Well, I feel slightly prattish now.. So I tried the thing out; for whatever reason, the horse's mane is still stiff as a board, so I'm starting to think it might be something else that's doing that to it. Now, as asked, I took a screenshot as well, but I also took one of my own for comparison's sake:http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v89/Terralventhe/texture_compare.pngNow, and this is just my own opinion on it, but I'm kind of preferring how mine looks to be perfectly honest, it feels like it blends a bit better with the black legs and such. But, of course, someone else might prefer your version as well, so at the very least feel free to use it if you so please.
ninjaguy1337
Appreciate the feedback. (: Maybe it's the mesh? I'm not sure. I like the fire on your feet better - but I think my horse looks better.Which is weird.. because I wasn't trying to mess with the horse itself. Oh well ^_^Should we try something else? ninjaguy1337
Update: Shield is in testing. New bump & glow maps for it. :D
Terralventhe
Hmm.. perhaps you could work it so it has my feet, and the rest is your handiwork then?
ninjaguy1337
Easily done. Maybe we should create a custom bump map for the horse's feet as well. That way, the cracks are actually "etched in".
Terralventhe
Go for it - I have no idea how to do it, myself, so I'll leave that one in your hands.
TheSorrector
So, I have a simple question: do you have to wait until the Creation Kit comes out to making the "fire horse"? I'd really love to walk across the skyrim surface with a ghostrider like horse... I also quite prefer the original Terralventhe's version, cuold you upload it, or better upload it when the flame version comes out? Logiwink
I'm working with a 3D modeler to hopefully create some new models for Blades-style items and some unique quest items to be used in an add-on to the Blades called "Reforging the Blades." Would you have any interest in doing the textures for the models once we've got them?
BMenegroth
As a werewolf, I feel a bit turned off having a giant Schnauzer-like dog following me instead of a cool looking wolf. I was thinking about a black wolf (fur darker than the ones in the wild) with blue eyes. This would look best for me. But I think you could make quite a few endorssements for an albino option and a red eye option for the dog as well. I'd settle if the mesh/texture made every dog in the world look that way, but would it be possible to make only the dog following me look that way? In my case, I have Vigillante. Name of Items: Dog companion (if possible, only the one following me. In my case, Vigillante)What I want: Make the dog look like a wolfBase Colors: Black fur (darker then the ones found in the wild) with blue eyes. (White fur and red eyes as well if you feel like doing it) And thanks a lot for making this thread.
