Greetings. As the topic says i got some probs with the game. 1st one is that time to time i can see though the weapon i got in my hands or just through the char. 2nd.. missing sounds... or laggy ones  time to time the sound of footsteps or chatting around is just gone or its just verry verry silent. Please, if someone got any idea what is goin on, help me.

P.S. reinstalling didn't helped

Edit: Ooh. forgot about the screenshots.. i'v eddited the .cfg but i still can't do screenshots

Yes, tried that.Seems to me the drivers are up to date. About the system: CPU Athlon 3200+ ( s 939 ) Video GW Nvidia 7300/256/ddr3 RAM 4x512/400 WG...

seems to me its not that bad mashine but for some reason i still got those graphical probs plus often enough crashing to the desktop... I realy concider i'll have to reninstall the game again and run it without any single mod ( :verymad: don't realy like that idea but i am desperate ). Today i discovered that the unofficial patch conflicts with about 40% of the mods im using. Don't know what is the reason but the FPS cannot pass 20 outside ( its betwen 15-20 ) and at some certain places its goin down to 4-5-6... I am wodering is it my hardware or something. The Oblivion game is installed on separated HDD and its all alone, so there's enough free space.

Beside all of the thigs i said above i gotta confess that i am realy newbie with all these computer thingys, so any help or advice is welcome.

Also i will realy appreciate if someone can provide me a list of mods that'll gimme best performance and video quality... i got some expirience with making ingame videos and i realy wanna try to make some into Oblivion.

P.S. Please, accept my appologize for my poor english

About the screenshots, IIRC you can't take screenshots the normal way if you turn antialiasing on ingame. I presume you were making ingame videos with FRAPS? If you are using antialiasing it's a good idea to use the FRAPS screenshot ability instead.

On the other hand, if you are not using antialiasing it must work when you change the right file. The file you need to edit is called oblivion.ini (you said you edited some .cfg file), but you need the one located in My Documents/My Games/Oblivion, not the one in the Oblivion root folder. Just to be sure, you have to add ScreenShotEnable=1 to the [General] section :)

And for the best video quality/performance... Someone else'll have to answer that. :)

Cheers

Thanks Xeniorn. The problem with the screenies is solved. Didn't know that i can take screenshots only if the HDR is on, so it works. Thanks again.

About the low FPS and other thigs...darn this 939 socket  I'll change my mainboard as soon as its possible. I hope dualcore CPU and DDR2 ram will solve the problem... lets just hope i'll succeed to sell my current mashine.

anyway. Its kinda weird. Beside of Oblivion i fly with Microsoft flight simulator X wich has the heavyest graphics i ever seen and i don't have probs with it on barely medium video settings.

P.S. Xeniorn, for video capturing im using 2 programs - Gamecam or ZD soft game recorder, depends of the video i am making. both of them are unregistered versions. Gamecam captures videofiles with better quality but the unregistered version doesent capture the sound.. The Game recorder captures both video and sounds but with lil lower quality and the unregistered version is able to capture up to 60 seconds ( 1 minute). next it stops and you must hit the reccording button again. Ooh, forgot about the 3th one :) Its Windows Movie Maker :P

you may check my vids in youtube.
