lazzybum Posted November 22, 2011 Share Posted November 22, 2011 So I joined the Thieves Guild although I'm more of the good-person character. I was actually joining hoping to rat them out/ turn on them later, if that was even possible. Anyways, I didn't know Maven Black-Blair was in with them and now she wants me to take care of the Honningbrew Meadery. Well.. I really dislike her & and her family and would rather be on the Honningbrew side, since I met them very early in the game. I haven't started this quest, but is there a chance to turn on her in this quest, or a future quest? Simple answer/spoiler please, don't want too much detail! And a general question for the game, do these quests have a good/bad option, based on the player's preference? I don't know how to explain it well, but similar with Fallout 3's good, neutral, & bad. Like you have the option to turn a bad guy in, or in this situation, turn on Maven rather than ignoring this quest completely or killing off her family without a quest. Not that I'm a goody goody charachter, I did join the brotherhood after all and am enjoying my run in there, but I joined the thieves guild too with hopes of sabotaging their operations. Oh well, guess I'll just have to see their quest lines through to the end, even if I do think they are a bunch of unorganised rift raft ;) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Draco856 Posted November 24, 2011 Share Posted November 24, 2011 You'll see at the end of the Thieves Guild quest line what really happens, but on the topic of Maven, I hate her too, I wanted another way to do that quest, but couldn't find one. I even went as far as to try and kill the guy who was supposed to take over. I also tried to get rid of the poison, and tell the owner about the plot. HaikenEdge Posted November 24, 2011 Share Posted November 24, 2011 Not sure if you've finished the Thieves' Guild quests, but during the arc, both Maven and Mercer say they have strong ties to the Dark Brotherhood, but yet, if you finish the Dark Brotherhood questline, you can't tell them, "That's the first I've heard of it", or "Not anymore, you don't."
