[Suggestion] Settlement Item to get rid of grass

Hey there.

This might not be possible, but I'd rather ask hoping someone would do it anyway.

It would be HUGE if there would be a settlement item (of sort) that you can place on the ground and it gets rid (or simply hides) grass at the surrounding, say, five meters.

What do you think? Impossible? Useless? Awesome idea, I'll get started right away?

The only issue with spring cleaning is it has not been updated in 7 months. So it may not work with the DLCs, and game updates.

I had to stop using it after the 1.5 update.

The is another mod called Voidcraft-junktown with a small scraping scope. From the description it seems very close to Spring Cleaning. I have not tried it yet, I am afraid of f..ing up my game uninstalling Scrap Everything, for that one.

I never use mods that allow you to remove stuff willy nilly. Too dangerous imho. The object in question might be a placeholder for an important script, or be the target of another script.

I use Scrap Everything ,and haven't had any issue with it. Of course you do have to be VERY careful, because it will allow you to scrap "almost" everything, including roads walkways, bridges, and even entire buildings, which can lead to unsatisfactory results, (hint = Exit workshop mode and SAVE,SAVE, SAVE, every few minutes!)

Some areas that have "Grass Mounds" or "Gravel with Grass" or even some "Trash" and "Debris" are there to hide the atrociously bad map/area design of Bugthesda. A good example of this is in The Castle. The inside corners with the Orange brick footpath/pavement have "trash" in the corners, to hide the fact that Bugthesda were just too lazy to make the corners line up properly, which leads to big "holes "in the floor there if you remove the trash.

Other times though it's a god send, like being able to get rid of the damn electrical tower at Abernathy Farm, so you can put straight walls in :) Plus it free's up a HUGE amount of "Settlement Budget" getting rid of all sorts of useless crap that Bugthesda added for no good reason to many area's.

2 things I also sometimes do in order to make area's look better is I will sometimes use the "Disable" console command on items outside of the build area, that infringe on the build area. (like a car wreck or a fallen tree and such)

I also use (and recommend) the Precise Movement and Placement Keybinds to manually move items into various places, such as fixing the above mentioned pavement in the Castle.
