KyrianJ Posted July 29, 2016 Share Posted July 29, 2016 So I'm curious as to whether or not a mod has ever been made or if someone is working on a mod that allows the player to attend an academy to learn to become a fighter/knight/paladin/healer or what have you I was up last night reading a book called The Cadet of Tildor and got to wondering if there was a mod that worked this way. What if you were just a farmers boy or a merchants son, If you use the Alternate start like I do and are into the RP aspect of the game you may understand. I want to motivate my character to pick up a sword, anyone can dream of using or wielding a blade but what makes you use it? What makes you better than a bandit who has killed 5 or 6 men (roughly speaking for the case most people when approached by a bandit run or surrender their items "NPCs") So that brings me to the mod, I saw and enjoyed the community college idea but I am looking for something far bigger with several students and teachers, there should be a daily quest to attend class on time. a few students in trouble like a guard system but instead of arresting the player or npc it should have an appropriate punishment. There can be side quests from helping a fellow student with a bully, attending ceremonies, helping a student with their shenanigans (and trying not to get caught) underground fighters pit for students, jousting optional (if there is a bit of a knight feel to it) but classes in general should feel like you have to apply the knowledge not just paying for training and leveling up. Here are a few of the designs I had i mind and yes most are using the Imperial City of Oblivion as I feel it has a very university feel to it.
