Skyrim crashing at Halted Stream Camp

Hello,

So, I just recently got back into Skyrim. I updated SKSE and all the Unofficial patches for Skyrim before I played again. I was running into some minor glitches the moment I started playing again, so I ran LOOT to sort my mod loadout. I then installed Hearthfire along with the unofficial patch for it because I haven't even tried it yet. Everything was working great until I tried to go to Halted Stream Camp near Windhelm to kill a bandit leader for a Jarl. I run into CTDs the moment I get close to that camp. I saw a lot of dirty edits in my load out, so I cleaned all of my master files and mods with TES5Edit. When I load up LOOT, all is clean and sorted properly. I loaded back into my saved game, tried to go back to that camp, and still a CTD. What can I do now if everything is cleaned up and sorted properly? Thanks in advance.

Hello,

• Make sure you're using the good mods >> Dangerous mods list.
• Install the latest USLEEP > v 3.0.4 now and uninstall your obsolete unofficial patches.
• CTDs troubleshooting page on Reddit. depending on what's happening in game, choose the subsections that describe the best your problem.
• It may be necessary to reload and test some previous saves, while using the savegame scripts cleaner if you have uninstalled mods at mid-game, (see below)

Here is a list of things that may help stabilizing your game, if not already been done :

/// Load order / mods conflicts :

• Create a wryebash patch including leveled lists.
• Create a merged patch with Tesedit excluding leveled lists

/// Settings / memory :

• Have you installed the skse patch ? >> memory blocks log.
• Backup your ini files and delete the files. Skyrim.ini / SkyrimCustom.ini / SkyrimPrefs.ini found in C:\Users\Utilisateur\Documents\My Games\Skyrim then use your vanilla launcher to autodetect and use best settings for your computer.

/// Save game :

• Don't uninstall mods at mid-game, there are no clean save in Skyrim but using save script cleaner can help removing orphan scripts.

/// Meshes healer :

• Read here, this is potentially a cause of CTD that you can resolve by following the mod procedure on this page.

• STEP troubleshooting page.

I figured out what it was... Even though TES5edit, nor any other tool saw any errors with this mod, it was Jaysus Swords(jswords.esm) that was causing this CTD. I just disabled it out of a hunch because this same mod gave me issues in the past. Sure enough, I went back into that area without a hitch. I already had Sharlikan's version and patches installed, but I didn't have the original mod uninstalled yet. This issue didn't really make sense, since I was able to play like this for quite some time without any issues and then out of nowhere this happened without any indication that there was something wrong from any of the troubleshooting tools that are out there. You're welcome. If Jaysus sword has a BSA or loose files, suggest you test the meshes using the /// Meshes healer above.

Thanks, I'm getting the same issue at still water and other randome places. Did you ever go at it with mesh healer?
