Seaxnas
This is a weird one. I have made a custom texture for the Vault Jumpsuit mesh, assigned it on the texture set, etc etc.. and still the texture doesnt appear ingame despite being fine on the NPC preview in GECK. Aswell as not appearing ingame, outside of the preview menus in the render window it has the same bugged up look as ingame. Anyone have a solution for this other than using nifskope to manually apply textures? I dont know enough about applying textures in nifskope anyway, since i already tried it and it didnt display the texture in nifskope.. its the same with other textures aswell, not just ones which i have edited and saved myself, including ones specifically hooked up to nif files. Werne
Does the texture appear "glitchy" in-game. If that's the case you need ArchiveInvalidation Invalidated.

I have seen that program before, i just thought, at that time, that it didnt apply to these bugs. It also has a lot of negative rep, so.. ;P, thank you very much ;D. Silly noob mistake, this sort of stuff should have more detailed coverage on the internet. Edited November 22, 2011 by Seaxnas
Werne
Yup, you just described you don't have ArchiveInvalidation. Download and activate it.

Werne
Sorry, I wrote that post before you edited yours. And I didn't misinterpret anything, you said your textures are assuming colors from the surroundings which means you didn't activate ArchiveInvalidation. See:The texture doesnt appear at all, it just assumes s*** from nearby objects
