MikeMoss
Hi I have looked everyplace and I can't find any thing hat covers the basic action of getting the mods to work in the game. I have downloaded the mod, a texture pack, unzipped it, placed the texture folder in my Skyrim Data Folder, and the whole tree is there. Texture, Actors, Character, Female, and inside that are the DDS files. When I open the data files app from the launcher I see only the Skyrim.esm. There is a check box for load loose files so I checked that but nothing seems to load in the game. How do I get it to load the new textures. There was no Texture Folder in the Data Folder before I added one? I played Oblivion and Morrowind, even made some mods of my own, but it's been a while. calyps
They should work when you stick them in the data folder, and I think it's textures, not texture. That may be your problem.
MikeMoss
Thanks for the reply. When I tried a different Mod it worked OK so I must have just been some kind of glitch.
calyps
I've had trouble with texture mods failing to load intermittently. But I've also had ingame textures fail to load giving the object a blue color. I fought a bright blue dragon. :P
