Brotherhood Loyalists (The Lyons)

So, you know how in Fallout 3, The East Coast Brotherhood was torn into two factions, The Brotherhood, and The Outcasts, now it's fairly accepted logic that Elder Maxson united the outcasts back into the Brotherhood, as they originally left because of the Lyons rule, and how different the Brotherhood was, Maxson returned the Brotherhood to it's "original" ideals (though a bit more hitlery depending on who you ask :P)
There's also some hints, speculation and some more accepted logic that Sarah Lyons may have been murdered by Maxson.

My idea is for a "brotherhood outcast"-esque faction to come into play, small in size, but sporting T-45 armor, heavy weapons (and, hell I don't know, maybe some scaling in their favour to balance out their smaller numbers) that would be called the "Brotherhood Loyalists" or better "The Brotherhood Lyons" or some such name/amalgamation etc. etc. (with their own more bluey white faction color scheme power armor paintjob)

I thought it'd be really cool to have another Power armour toting faction join the wasteland, bent on fighting Maxson's Brotherhood.

What do yous think?
I'd make it myself, but I have no experience with the Creation Kit and I'm kinda scared to even attempt it.

I've got a concept going for this about the player encountering renegade Brotherhood soldiers calling themselves the Order of Lyon with a focus on chivalry and idealism. It's a long aways away though.

Actually, no... Maxson didn't take them back to their original ideals.. if they were focused on their original ideals, they would pretty much ignore everyone in the wasteland, and accept almost no recruits ever, they would hoard the tech, hide in their bunker, and let traders and scavengers die on their doorsteps pretty often. beyond that, yeah.. he's pretty close to the classic.

Actually. No, it's in the lore that the Outcasts rejoined the brotherhood, Maxson brought them back into the fold, it's one of the things he's praised for.

YEs, I'm aware of that much, but you said he took the eastern brotherhood back to their original ideals, which isn't the case. He still has many of the ideals instilled by Elder Lyons, including accepting Wastelanders into the Brotherhood, and focusing on things a bit more than just hoarding valuable tech. Even making use of wastelanders for producing food and the like is something most of the brotherhood wouldn't do out west, they did their best to be completely isolated and self sufficient.. something that worked relatively well in the very earlier years, but has steadily failed them as they failed to restore lost people, produce enough food do to excessive focus on tech over anything, and then of course went to war against the NCR which nearly wiped them out.

I agree, Sarah Lyons should have been in fallout 4. Here's a post that someone wrote about if Sarah Lyons was in fallout 4 http://lejacquelope.tumblr.com/post/134267561386/spoilers-fallout-4s-plot-dropped-the-ball
