milopeach
I read through the FNVEdit manual and it said doing a master update would increase stability, so I tried it, couldn't load up any of my saves without the game crashing, so I did the master restore. However I'm still unable to load up any of my saves. I had a problem when trying to do the master restore, the program said it couldn't access a certain mod (WMXDLCMerged) so I tried reinstalling it that particular mod and the problem still persists. I tried doing another master update followed immediately by a master restore hoping that would solve the problem, but it hasn't. I'm new to using FNVEdit so I'd really appreciate any advice about fixing this problem.
milopeach
I've managed to fix it, I went to backup my data folder to try messing around with some fixes, and while I was doing so windows explorer told me my version of WMX couldn't be moved because it apparently didn't exist. A reinstall of it and all of its compatibility patches fixed the problem. Hope this at least helps someone else with a similar issue. I'm staying far away from master updates in the futute. RoyBatterian
That was for Fallout 3, in a patch where Bethesda broke everything. Don't do master update, it will break a lot of mods.
