Windows 10 Tips and Tricks

hiya,

 

I installed Yesterday windows 10 Enterprise to see what's the buzzing all about.

their are some ground rules one must apply if wanna use this OS safely.

i made some screen shots with explanation what or how to do stuff.

made them step by step.

Windows 10 is the largest piece of malware I've ever installed.

 

That of course is why they were giving it away free to so many - to the unwary it's essentially a bit like allowing someone to install camera's into all the rooms in your house.

 

Whilst I use it - I have read hundreds of articles regarding the features, services etc to deactivate or at the very least curtail but the best word I can think of to describe it is "insidious".

 

Memory management is the only reason I continue to use it - the days of 32GB paging files being suggested by the OS are over but even with all I've learned I wouldn't do anything on my PC I wouldn't be comfortable with the whole world knowing about.

 

Cortana is evil..... Maybe even the prelude to Skynet.... ;)

All you need for WIn 10 is DWS (google it), no need articles, nothing. Also, during installation you can turn off most of the stuff before you can download DWS and fire it up. Good OS it seems, didn't really notice any perf. increase over my past Win7 though. The only complaint is interface, which we can conveniently fix with ClassicShell. As for the rest, I remember disabling UAC and typing in cmd: Net user administrator activate:yes in previous Wins too, so no real difference.

Yeah - I looked at the Department of Workforce Services page, Deerfield Windsor School, an investment branch of Deutshce Bank and a site that wants to sell me handbags and boots - then i found this...

I didn't google it though - I use duckduckgo because they apparently don't track me - although I know their watching so I don't believe it.

 

I can't trust the software you directed me to either because whllst it looks great - and I do mean that - it's probably just viruses to spy on what porn I'm downloading so they can blackmail me into being an agent of some evil plot or some such.

 

I jest of course but I check as many sources as possible to verify information - hence going through 100's of sites to try and get to the reality of what Windows 10 is doing and how to stop it. I suppose the overlap with your post on the EU is that when things like the snoopers charter are justified on the basis of protecting the people - by a government that has crippled the poorest in the society in which I live - I question their motives - I question everything - because legislation passed by a government today can be used in years to come to control it's populus.

 

Laws have recently been passed that moved me from not being a criminal into being a criminal if I continued doing what I was doing and what had not been illegal before. I have no criminal record andI caused no harm to anyone doing what I was doing and the laws past - which are so full of hypocracy it defies believe - "The Psychoactive Substances Bill" - which curtails what is classed as acceptable for people to ingest or supply - yet allows the continued consumption of alcohol or tobacco which we know the cost of.

 

At one of the readings of the bill - a gay MP stood up and said - I take poppers - please don't make it illegal - so poppers were added to the "these drugs are ok to take list" along with alcohol & tobacco. I'm personally delighted for the MP in question - not a big fan of poppers myself but have no problem with what individuals choose to do or take as long as they don't cause harm or disruption to others. Unfortunately I'm not an MP so my prefered escapes are now all illegal in the UK.

 

I have no facebook page - I use no form of conventional media whatsoever but I choose not to hide myself from the community here because I want to fully engage and I have no issue with being open about who I am - hence a picture of some guy I stole from the internet and an identity I hacked to pull the wool over everyones eyes because I'm so clever - again I jest. I know how to cover my tracks but am very lazy about it these days - I am in no way technically capable of hiding from those with talents who could find me if they wanted to and if Joe Soap wants to verify who I am - please go ahead - you'll be so bored looking at my PC Gamer/Nexus/Email account - Torrentfreak - BBC Sports & Silverlock internet history I pity anyone who'd actually try.

 

As for the subjects & topics covered in the EU thread - we had a financial collapse less than a decade ago - and nothings changed since - western financial systems are being propped up by Central Banks creating money out of nothing and selling it at a profit to governments & banks devaluing ever penny or cent you have in your pocket everytime it happens - the system is broken and at somepoint something will snap and it'll be at this point that all the curtailed freedoms, spying and laws put into place that can be abused that we have allowed to come to be like sheep will then become a problem - whether your a criminal or otherwise.

 

Or maybe I'm a crazy paranoid nutjob conspiracy theorist - maybe I just like prodding the bear to wind it up - I could be the master manipulator planting seeds as part of my plan for global domination and my warnings to people to question everything - to take nothing at face value and to think critically about every aspect of existence from how & why we are brought up and educated the way we are to what messages they're bombarded withs real purpose may be is just a cover for a bored housewife. In fact - Colin Fry's just come on the telly and just like John Edwards - I CANT RESIST PEOPLE WHO TALK TO THE DEAD - and I can't type and watch him communicate with the otherside at the same time so I'm off.

 

For those who've completely no idea why I've tangentally went off on one - see the Future of the EU thread for a wholesome dose of blatant racism and mindless ignorance - It's an enriching experience I promise you - honestly.

just saying, i see a profile photo you do know google have software that can ID people on a picture? thats why they invented "TAG".

I am in disguise. This way nobody will recognise me.

 

I acknowledged that the tool looks great.

 

I'm only remaining in disguise for a limited time - wearing this mask is intolerably hot and smells bad.

DWS looks pretty iffy, but there are no viruses and this tool suites any paranoid nutjob conspiracy theorist just fine. Also I'm kinda curious where you get your stuff and what is it? Because it seems like a freaking rocket fuel.

I just wonder how many people have a legitimate Enterprise edition Windows at home to begin with.

 

If you have "the other kind", the risk of having a rootkit is much worse than the certainty of Microsoft collecting a limited amount of telemetry data.

I use Enterprise LTSB edition, might not be the same as Home edition. not sure never try the Pro/Home edition.

I don't have a legitamate copy of Enterprise - I had a legitimate copy of Windows 7 Ultimate and it "upgraded" to Win 10 Pro.
