eagle52361
Hello everyone hope someone out there might be able to help me out with this. When I load a color or normal map into gimp it comes up really transparent(as well as the alpha channel). The ones I have been looking at are actor textures. Not all the maps that I have looked at are transparent.(see image) I was just wanting to know, is there something that the color map is doing as to why the map would come up like this? I have been looking around but have not come up with any answers. Also what is a _sk.dds? what I have been able to turn up is that it is a skin mask and what it does is "used to mask out what parts of a model should be consider skin for the purpose of dynamically assigning skin tone through the game engine. " is this true?Thank you all so much for the help! :D [http://i1095.photobucket.com/albums/i463/eaglechief4321/Alduin.jpg
Bythemark
That's really odd. Make sure you have the latest version of the DDS plugin, and uninstall/re-install it.
