Its not really gaming laptop, its Avg-Mid grade, but with few tweaks its runs Skyrim not too badly.

but I do want trade it now for faster/better Laptop (I hate ATI video cards :P )

Problem: Strange green boards via HDMI on LG TV. expect at 1280-1024

====

I'm having very strange Video issue here with Skyrim... I can play the game but the way I really want too..

I have just updated the Ati Radeon/AMD with the recent update on there page that addressed Skyrim Issues..

When I first got Skyrim was doing same thing.. But I finally found a Nice resolution that seemed to work well. but now I do not remember

which one it was..

Anywho Here is the problem.. Its a minor one. and I have tried even doing fresh install Skyrim, All mods

tweak files removed. and still does the same thing..

When you load up the launcher, You go into your settings, You pick video card, 16:9 /16:10 / 4:3-5:4

I can select 1920 x 1080. As the Tv I am hooked upto fully supports full 1080/60p at 120hz..(or is supost too)

But no matter what

GPU : AMD Raedeon HD 6570M/5700 Series

Aspect ration : 16: 9 Wide screen

Resolution : 1280 x 720 (which is close to 720p)

Every time I load up. I get this very wide Green boarder all around the edge of my tv.. a pail Green board

and the picture does not look right. very soft/dull.. You can play fine. but just looks ugly.

I can't get any the 16:9 res to work correctly.. and still that Nagging Green boarder..

i can run fine and looks fine in 1280 x 1024 but its to 4:3 format.. The thing is I just tested and I get same probs/strange green border in oblivion and I don't know why..

But runs fine. just only get that border when run very high Resolution.. But I can run Portal 2 with no problems.. but Oblivion/Skyrim do give

that green boarder..

Anybody have any ideas?
