Xbox 360 Controller Rumble/Vibration on PC version

Hey All,

I'm in love with this site - I'm in law school now, but I can't help spending an extra minute or two modding Skyrim!!

Anyways, I was wondering if anybody can help me. I'm accustomed to using the 360 controller, and I enjoy having rumble/vibration. But the problem with Skyrim is that the events that cause a rumble are kind of weird. I think only certain instances causes the controller to rumble...like when there's a dragon. But there is no feedback on the controller when I use spells, swing the sword, jump, etc.

Is this normal and does anyone else have this problem? Also, would it be possible to mod this for it to work? I know some people dislike rumble, but I think it really adds to the immersion.

Thanks everybody!

I've only played the PC version myself, so I can't compare to console variations, but there is very little rumble. But then again, TES games don't have cinematics and intense action scenes scripted that would employ vibrations similar to other rpgs on consoles. I find the vibrations adequate though and they give me a good "shock" at times which helps with the realism of being surprised.

Thanks for the input. I should clarify - I am playing on the PC version as well. But I guess I'm accustomed to the sensory overloaded games, where there's a vibration everytime your character uses their hands.

I'm curious if there's a way to add this as a feature?
