How do you fix clipping that you can't see in Bodyslides Outfit Studio

Been having trouble with 2 outfits that haven't been updated since the new Bodyslide muscle sliders where released and it's causing a large amount of cipping in game that I can't see in Bodyslide for one of the outfits.

The clipping would also become a lot worse when my character is moving and I've tried updating both outfits sliders with no success, is there anyway to fix this.

You'll need to use Outfit Studio probably. Bodyslide rarely does "perfect" morphs for for any but the most basic of outfits, and it is particularly not great on tight fitting outfits or on body shapes that are too far from "standard".

Load up the reference body mesh (usually your nude/base female body mesh) then load the outfit, and start looking for clipping areas. One trick I've learned is to hit "W" to bring up the wireframe in Outfit Studio, this can be handy to see which areas to tweak.

Also another trick I learned with OS is to zoom way, way out, as sometimes this will show clipping area's that don't appear, when you a zoomed in close.

Also use just the "wireframe" view option on the outfit and make sure that it sits just a little bit away from the body in all area's, and particularly around joints that move a lot in game, like elbows, knees, armpits etc, plus area's that move large distances, like thighs and shoulders when your character is animated.

Then it's just process of trial and tweak, trial and tweak - You may need to open close the game several times in order see and then fix all clipping issues, and it may not even be possible to get rid of ALL clipping. with some outfits. It's simply the poo/limitedr way that Bugthesda implement their cloth physics and armours in their current game engine.

I know this is very old, but in case you're looking for a fix then here it is:

You have to make sure that your reference body is exactly the same nif file as the one you built for your character body via the bodyslide. Just load a new reference from file by picking the corresponding body nif from ShapeData folder and make sure to tick the "merge new sliders with existing sliders" box. Doing that will reveal all the ingame clipping that is otherwise unseen. Also if you have several armor pieces equipped and there's still clipping make sure that each one of them has the same body reference.

Oh wow, Zeroeuso you just lifted a ton of frustration off of my shoulders, thank you. Now I just have to figure out what the different options (mesh volume vs smoothing) do exactly. Is it possible to load more than 1 item of clothing/armor at a time? that would be very helpful as well
