teser11 Posted November 23, 2011 Share Posted November 23, 2011 (edited) So after a lot of headache I finally got it so data files is no longer greyed out, however now that it's not greyed out when I open it the only thing I can check is Skyrim.esm and there is no check box for my InstantVendorRestocking mod, can anyone help? "data" Skyrim.esm is the only one showing up. and it's strange that they used to show up.. but after replacing the .exe. They dissapeared from the list. Jakad Posted November 23, 2011 Share Posted November 23, 2011 Temporary fix tell I find out why esm mods aren't showing up under Data Files, copy the file name (includeing the .esm) and copy it into C:\users\[username]\AppData\Local\Skyrim\plugins.txt in a new line. After saving make the file read only by right clicking and checking read only. The mod still doesn't show up in the data file list, but it should still work. If you ever want to add more mods, you need to uncheck read only, add what you want to add, save, then make it read only again. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
