Astal
Hey, I just realized something. I have ALL of the Daggerfall sprites and textures. I am not hardcore enough to play it though. I still want to stick memorable (to those that played DF) sprites on, say, books and signs and whatnot. Any ideas?
ThePrinceofDarkness
I tried opening some of the texture files with Photoshop to start working on them, but it appears that the textures aren't opened by Photoshop. What program would I use to open the dds files and begin re-texturing?
Astal
I use both Paint.net and Photoshop Cs5 (portable edition). Paint.net is used to edit the textures themselves, although for some reason it likes to trick you into thinking some sprites are transparant. Regardless, it opens and saves .dds files like a champ.'Photoshop is what I use to make normal map files with and to properly check out the files that seem transparant with Paint.net. You need a plugin to make normal map files, though. Just check google.Heres a link for the portable Photoshop CS5. Its the version I use so I know it works :) : http://www.megaupload.com/?d=K3BLBDF6If you need any help or suggestions, dont hesitate to ask. Just send me a PM, as I really dont check this thread anymore.

ThePrinceofDarkness
Welp, I've been busy with school again, and I'm absolutely hopeless at editing textures apparently, so I'm going to step down from the project until I manage to make something to contribute. If I manage to ever figure something out and help out, I'll do so, but until then, consider me dropped. Sorry mate.
