Nexus Mod Manager issue

I have an issue....

I used to have a lot of mods installed, then i decided to reinstall the game, because something went wrong....I did so, by simply uninstalling the game trough steam and then manually delete the original skyrim folder.
Now i reinstalled the game, i even reinstalled NMM, but all the mods that were checked as installed before the uninstallation are still marked as installed. So i am manually uninstalling each of them. Problem is, NMM stops working while i uninstall some of them....is it normal? Is there a way to fix it?

there is something you could do, but i'm not sure how great it is

you can open NMM, and find your mods folder, then close NMM

just delete all the mods inside the folder, then open NMM again

it will say that some mods are uninstalled, and give you prompts

answer 'no' to each prompt, and it will uninstall all of the mods

if this method doesn't help, you may want to remove NMM, clean your mods folder, then install NMM again and start from fresh

as for the queue, it is always best to uninstall mods one at a time, and give NMM time to finish it's job, unless you want your pc to freeze

so perhaps your best chance is to try uninstalling one mod at a time, starting from the large mods, and giving your pc some time to run this

if you can, even leave your pc for some time, and let it only run the uninstall, as it could be rather heavy on your pc for large mods

see if anything solves your problem, and do report the outcome

Hello...I am trying to download NMM..I click on it..another link pops up saying about click here to download manually..I click on it..nothing happens..I am on a PC.

Never mind...It downloaded...I had brought up the Nexus site thru Google...and as I stated earlier..the download didn't start manually. So I brought up the Nexus site thru Internet Explorer...downloaded right away...maybe Google blocked it somehow?
