Kairo29
Lol *shrug* maybe it was just the wording. "Definitely not cool. Not even slightly." It read a bit strong as if it not being cool is a fact. No biggee. On topic: A jump to the side bow attack might be useful when fighting dragons, as in dodging out of the way of a dragon breath attack and firing. Still having a hard time picturing how fluid the controls for it would be, and also knowing that I don't think too many people struggle with dragon fights. Maybe this coupled with an "More Intense Dragons" mod or something haha. I play a character thats part archer myself.
Aheeia
yup i think there are much less perks, animations and finishers for the use of the bow than the rest of the weapons. archering should be improved by different mods in general. e.g. dragon age archer perks. just a few ideas in this direction and feel free to post some more:- multiple arrow attack- disarming attack- the use of an arrow for a melee attack- burning arrows for more firedamage (set up a trap: use some flamable liquid in form of a potion and light it up with the burning arrow)- enchanted arrows in general Edited November 25, 2011 by Aheeia
Aheeia
I don't think too many people struggle with dragon fights. well depending on the difficulty lvl. if dragons are easy prey just up a notch or two ;) i try to use cover for doging ranged attacks when using the bow. but if would be nice to have a perk for dogging or jumping whild using bow attacks
jeffrobot
Hey I was about to be a hater of this mod. Its really overpowered. You get to slow down time to make people easier to hit, and you also deal extra dmg 8D ?? But not everyone wants to play like I do, and Im sure I could enjoy jumping through the air every so often too. Anyways, the point of my post: of someone was to make this mod, they could easily make all the different aspects of the mod choices for the player, thats how code works. For instance, in the options menu you could set: can jump in air? y/ntime slows while in air? y/ndeal extra dmg? y/n And so if I wanted to be able to slow down time but not deal extra dmg, I could. So I support this mod, as long as the coder remembers to make it in the above intelligent way.

I play on highest I think, and *I* still have a challenge from dragons. But I also don't exploit smithing and enchanting haha to keep things interesting. I've been leveling that stuff slowly. And yeah I realized early that cover helps when fighting archers after I died instantly from a headshot once lol. Being able to fire off a shot and then immediately dodge to the side might help in fighting archers when you're going shot-for-shot with one another. Or being able to initiate a roll that doesn't have to be while crouched like that one perk allows.
