QuantumPrimus
After changing my hard drives, i needed to reinstall mods for my Skyrim game. Some mods work well and can be installed through the NMM, and others I needed to install manually, then you got the ones that i have tried to install and I get a message from winrar saying files or corrupted. I first tried to download the Lore Weapon Expansion through the NMM, but it just said that there was a problem durring the installation. After seeing this I tried to download through the download manually, and just install it as I normally would with other mods, just drag and drop into the Data folder. I tried with 7zip instead and it still showed some errors when I tried to install it. As I said, the way i tried to install this mod was the same as some others, and they worked just fine. I've had this with 2 mods so far and thats NobleSkyrimMod 2k and Lore Weapon Expansion. I have the what it showed in a txt document showing what it told me. I don't know why this has happened. These mods worked fine before I had to reinstall the mods. Thank you for any help. Edited August 2, 2016 by QuantumPrimus
Darkstyler35
Hello,Uninstall the mods. If necessary, make sure to remove files manually from C:\games\Nexus Mod Manager\Skyrim\Mods and also other folders if any.Download them again manually and check again with winrar if they are corrupted. If they are, no need to try to install again untill this problem is resolved.Use the "add from file function" to install the mods.If it doesn't work, you may have to do a manual install = extract manually the required files in the skyrim/data folder and overwrite.Make sure plugins are checked.Good luck. I tried to extract them in different folders than the Skyrim ones, but they still show as corrupted. Are they just suddenly broken, because I tried this with a mod that I knew worked before my hard drive change and that was Falskaar. It still showed as it had corrupted files in it as well.Thank you for your suggested help.
Darkstyler35
It might be a problem with the way your drive manages files, since you have installed this hardware you have corrupted files.
