Alotsa
OK so the title is a little ambiguous, basically id like to know how to change the Jessi mod's body to whatever i want with out changing EVERY female in the game. HOW TO CREATE A CUSTOM JESSI? Im sure this has been asked but i UTFSE and Google like mad before i EVER make a post. It seems in this case I am in need of some direct advice. Please if you could help me out or just direct me to a place with a solid answer (i can figure the rest out on my own) I would appreciate it ! (preliminary guess, something to do with creating a new race and installing Jessi's files to it ? ) Really i am not a dummy I just need a clear step by step and ill do the rest ! Thanks! -Alotsa Edited November 23, 2011 by Alotsa
101VRanger
go to C:\Program Files\Bethesda Softworks\Fallout 3\Data\meshes\Characters\Jessi\BodyMesh and replace her body mesh JessiBodyMesh with an upperbodyfemale mesh taken from a "booby" mod pack ... of course, the new mesh must be texture compatible with the default body you're using or Jessi's body texture won't look properly. hope that helps pal, booby Jessi eh?? I'm actually using a Type3 slim body one ... Thanks for the quick reply Ranger. Yeah "booby" Jessi haha, honestly i just want her to stand out from other NPC's. i thought about making all other NPC's with a large bust and using the slim mod with Jessi haha but quickly found i need to learn how to do a basic bust change before i work with mod integration. So i like your set up man. Any way you instructions seem simple enough (thank you, thats what i wanted) and i thought i had tried that, but when i add an upperbodyfemale mesh to the Jessi file it still changes every female but her. Ive tried this a couple of times so i guess im missing a step. And whats up with the "HAll" stuff? if the modder is a Nazi that's not very cool but as a user who enjoys politically incorrect humor its kinda hilarious. Ha. Ha.well changing the JessiBodyMesh from her BodyMesh folder will change only her NAKED ASPECT, I also have changed her default clothes for something more ... exposed with this procedure, for example, changing her underwear, lingerie and painspike armors for something else. That means I changed those meshes from the ...\Bethesda Softworks\Fallout 3\Data\meshes\Characters\Jessi\Armor for modded meshes. In your case, more booby ones I wonder?? of course I do recommend backup of the original Jessi armor meshes of those folders before experimenting this dude, just change the meshes file names.the meshes you use to replace Jessi's defaults MUST HAVE INSTALLED their correspondent textures in the ...Data/Textures folder or the meshes will look odd. all this said, when you're going to equip any other vanilla outfits/armors on her, they will take your basic character upperbodyfemale aspect, the body you have installed basically, Type3 I wonder?? hope that helps again
