LE Dovahkiin Soul Absorb Yell

Hello all,

 

This being my first post ever, I know I have no right to request any mods, so think of it as more as just an idea.

 

To make a long story short, forward this

to around 4:28

 

Here you can see that while the character is absorbing the dragon soul, he yells out "Dovahkiinnnnnnnnnn!"

 

Now Im aware there isnt much purpose to this, but to me its an atmosphere thing which is one of the greatest things about the Elder Scrolls games.

Im not sure why but it just gives me chills when he yells that out and personally I think it would be an awesome feature to have in game.

 

 

On a side note: It looks as if right before he does the yell, a spell is equipped. That being said, it is possible that I have not learned this spell/shout yet in game due to my inability to stick to one character, as Ive only made it about "halfway" through the main story line. From what Ive searched and found though Ive seen several people say that the soul absorb yell is not a feature in the game, and most likely something Bethesda did for preview purposes, so correct me if Im wrong.

 

Thanks goes out to all those modders that take their time and skills to make these mods which improve this already great game so much, and a special thanks to anyone who might decide to turn this into a project.

Sorry, I have to say that .... But dragonborn yelling "DRAGONBOOORN!" after killing a dragon is a bit like football player Mike yelling "MIIIIIKEEE!" upon having an orgasm.

 

That being said... I think it would be a bit funny. Since it's from demo, it prolly just wasn't implemented at the end...Along with posing while absorbing.

But maybe it still is somewhere in the game files, so it couldbe moddable.

It's pretty damn awesome, and I was thoroughly disappointed when i discovered it wasn't in the game.

Yeah, he was equipped with a high-level Fireburst spell, which is where the animation came from. The 'DOVAHKIIIIIIIIIIIN!!' yell isn't actually in there, it's dubbed over.

I think that looks quite nice. There really should be an animation for absorbing a soul, it would make it look much more cinematic. But the yell could be nice as a one time only thing, like in an in-game cinematic scene I think, it would be pointless to yell every time you absorb a soul cause I dunno, you kill A LOT of dragons through the game.

Here's an idea: That pose, with a dragon's roar, as if it's rolling forth from the very core of the Dragonborn's soul. Maybe even Highlander it up a bit by having lightning strike down on your character while the draconic essence gathers up around you ala Call Storm's effect, just centered on you. Make it a spectacle.
