VegasYeah Posted August 3, 2016 Share Posted August 3, 2016 Hi all Been tryinhg to install some of the fantastic mods on here but can't run the Mod Manager as it says i need a Net client ?AndI don't seem to able to put them in the right locations manually I'm mainly using body and clothing mods.Really wnt to enhance the game so any help grateflly recieved thanks. There are generally four possibilities for this game: Nexus Mod Manager (NMM), Mod Organizer (MO), Wrye Flash (WF), and Fallout Mod Manager (FOMM). Exactly what "net client" and version does it say you need? Most likely this is "Microsoft .NET Framework 4" but the version required depends upon which version of Windows you are running. This is a standard component of the later versions of Windows, so you should have it installed anyway but it might need updating. You can check by using the "Control Panel" and looking in the list of "Programs and Features". (That name may vary a bit depending upon which version of Windows you are using.) Installing body and clothing mods is best done generally with a fully functional mod manager, but some mods in particular require much more than just "install the mod". First of all you need to chose a specific "body type", and then pick armor and clothes made specifically for that body type. Clothing and armor for other body types will not fit properly due to different proportions, causing "clipping" of the body to show through the clothing/armor. You will probably also need to choose a "skin texture" to go along with your chosen body type. That information should be on the download page of the body type. Read all documentation carefully. Just remember that the game has limits that usually are less than that of your hardware. Every bit of "pretty" you add is putting a burden on the game engine that slows things down.
