Crashing at Ilinalta's Deep

I recently started the Azura's Star quest and have gotten to the part that requires me to travel to Ilinalta's Deep. The problem I have ran into is that every time I travel there my game crashes. Fast traveling directly causes a crash during the loading screen. When I travel near by, as soon as I walk within range of Ilinalta's Deep my game crashes to desktop. Someone please help, I've been disabling mods right and left and can't seem to fix it.

Here's my modlist:

I use LOOT, Wyre Bash, and TES5Edit.

Hello,

Here is a list of things that may help stabilizing your game, if not already been done :

/// Load order / mods conflicts :

/// Cleaning and correcting potential bugs :

  • Clean your master files to eliminate potential problems : Gopher's videos cleaning your masterfiles on the Nexus Tesedit page.
    Start Tes5edit, simply untick everything, (right-click/select none) and add only a tick to the esm/esp you want to check + update.esm, Tesedit knows what to do and will load all the dependencies automatically.
    - Begin with loading only Skyrim + update, ITM / UDR + save ctrl +s and close.
    - Then load Skyrim + update + Dawnguard, ITM / UDR + ctrl +s and close.
    - Then load Skyrim + update + Hearthfire, ITM / UDR + ctrl +s and close.
    - Then load Skyrim + update + Dragonborn, ITM / UDR + ctrl +s and close.
  • The method above can be used to clean mods. LOOT should tell you which plugin you should clean. You may also do a check errors on your plugins.

/// Settings / memory :

  • Have you installed the skse patch ? >> memory blocks log.
  • Backup your ini files and delete the files. Skyrim.ini / SkyrimCustom.ini / SkyrimPrefs.ini found in C:\Users\Utilisateur\Documents\My Games\Skyrim then use your vanilla launcher to autodetect and use best settings for your computer.

/// Save game :

/// Meshes healer :

  • Read here, this is potentially a cause of CTD that you can resolve by following the mod procedure on this page.

/// Useful informations :

Hope this helps.

Thanks, Darstyler, for your response! But sadly my problem still remains :sad: . I have fixed some other issues with what you supplied me though, so I am still thankful. I tried almost everything on the list ( I say almost because I'm not reverting my game back to vanilla)

You're welcome.

  • <I've been disabling mods right and left and can't seem to fix it> If you didn't try to disable all your mods, you may have one that conflicts. You may try to reload a previous save and deactivate your mods by chunk of 10-20, beginning by the end of your load order, then test in game. If the game doesn't want to load, use the save game scripts cleaner above to remove orphan scripts and try again. If it seems you've found a culprit and uninstall it, reload your backup save, ( the one created by save scripts cleaner) and use again the save script cleaner with only this mod uninstalled.
  • You may also try ENBOOST, see here some explanations, (see ENBhaxx).

Good luck.
