Symphonicx666
There's a lot of talk about the boundary to Morrowind can be reached by using the noclip function - and the surrounding provinces are easily seen and there's videos to support it...it's got people talking about potential DLC but I don't think that's necessarily the reason why these "provinces" are mapped out - the reason is there's a quest for a diety called Merida that takes you really high into the sky for a while - on a good day you can see everything pretty much - I assume it's for this reason mainly and the mapping is obviously very basic and doesn't exactly match the provinces in Oblivion....just saying :) although it IS a lot of work, for one quest - but I haven't done 'em all..... saintjimmyz
From what Ive heard, its just the rough scenery shapes, no detail at all. The daedric quest for Meridia does involve you flying straight up to speak to her, so thats a likely explanation.
Yossarian22
All it has is the Tamriel LOD, because previously they generated the world based on a tamriel hightmap. But they cut of the landscapes at the borders of skyrim and left only the LOD. I am pretty sure nothing is planed there. DLCs will be like they have been for Fallout3 and FNV I guess.
