Caille
I think he means one over internet.. Me personally, I meant locally. I could give less than two poodoo piles about playing with anyone other than my spouse. Who obviously lives with me. Alexis*smiles*
RastionSigne
I'd pay another $60 just to play multiplayer. All I want is to be able to do everything I can in SP in MP over LAN.
punxdog
I think most people just want to play with a friend or two, even as an adjunct to the main character. I predict that a basic MP will come out and most people won't play it for very long due to lag and predictably bad lag, even if LAN. Its a shame and silly really, pretty much B' are the only guys not implementing some basic MP these days.
TFSakon
Personally I came here to look for an arcade style PvP, I was thinking that might be some fun.Still, being as this seems contravertial, does anyone know of a Skyrim-esque PvP, ya'know something like a fantasy fps. Does that exist?

z3mbabwe
Of course, there's also Two Worlds II, which does an admirable job of offering a pretty simple yet enjoyable co-op aspect.
borgmaster
I'd pay another $60 just to play multiplayer. On that note I have an interesting proposition. If someone were to take a list of people and how much they would pay it might be possible to convince 'B' to make a addon for multiplayer, or at least the bones of one. Even if the addon was shoddy the skyrim community is already so big that I would place bets on the multi-player being fixed a week after it came out. Im not joking about the petition though. We should set up a site to take down names and the amount of money people would pay to start a multiplayer addon. We would also need a secondary petition that would take down the names of legit modders/programmers that would be interested in fixing bugs that would arise from the addon. Maybe set up a kickstarter fund to give B some incentive to make one. The reason they don't make one right now is that it is not overly profitable in their opinion. If we could just show them that the community would be willing to pay and maybe even help them make the addon itself they might decide to give the addon a try. Even if they just get to a beta we would be set for the future. On the programming aspect of it I do realize the problems faced. World sync, lag, not made for multiplayer. But that's what we have modders for and will climb that hill when we get to it. I think that if B made a multiplayer addon, even if it was choppy at best, the community would eat it up in an instant. In the end any kind of multiplayer made would just end up unrecognizable after people modded it and re-rigged it to their liking.
Skyvion
Next elder scrolls will be the multiplayer Otherwise, you could be waiting for an existing mod and see how it develops after CK release. Or else you could also learn how to do it yourself.
