Pathadeness
I'm having an issue starting Skyrim at all as the launcher doesn't seem to do any thing. I will click the play button but all it will do is re-load the launcher itself making it seemingly useless. I don't know what it might be but I'm going to uninstall all my mods and the modloader to see if that helps, but if anyone else has encountered this maybe you can shed some light onthe situation. Thanks. P.S.--------| My face when all this happened. VVVVVVVVVV
scot
That problem is due to steam removing TESV.exe from your computer, I fixed it by validating local content. If you have a TESV.exe backup then place it back into the skyrim´s folder and all will work again. scot
No point on installing again, steam deleted the TESV so if you don´t have a back up ether validate the game content (game library, right click on skyrim, properties, local game files, validated game file for skyrim) or wait for the next update.I really hate steam, before they deleted my TESV that was in my computer my skyrim worked just fine, after they delete TESV my game crashes and has some textures problems even if I use the backup. SirFfuzzyLogik
I'm having the same issue, and I attempted verifying the integrity of game cache (not sure what that means), and it found one missing file and said it will be reaquired, but nothing happens. I have the TESV.exe file in the folder, but it's still happening. Am I doing it right, or is there more to it? Please help, before I burn the world.
