I have atleast over 100 mods and randomly it just crashes for reason at all.

I am new to fallout 4 for PC but his is abyssmal for an old game.

It shouldnt be crashing so frequently.

I searched google and noone seems to be having any sort of fixes what so ever.

So I ask is it the mods?

Are there too many?

Is it my CPU? (Which is a no because it can handle better games than this on Ultra)

Are some mods incompatabile?

Do some need DLC? (IF so I disabled a few that needed dlc as they say missing in NMM)

There are just too many factors, but a HUGE one is crashing when I enter back street apparel every quick travel it simply dies for no reason when I damn near cut a corner.

Also I crash every time I die....EVERY TIME!!!

Im surpirsed noone on the has ever asked these questions.

There's always a reason why it would crash repeatedly. There's now over 13,000 mods for FO4 and any two mods combined could lead to problems or crashes. You're not likely to get a quick answer to your problem because we really don't know any details to help narrow down what the problem might be. We don't know anything about your cpu setup so how could anyone answer?

A good place to start would be to disable all mods and check to see if the game works. Then slowly add a few back at a time and check again to see if the game works. Keep doing that until you run into the problem and that should at least narrow it down to which mod or mods it could be.

I'm not the best problem solver here but I'll try to answer some of your questions the best I can.

Yes, it could be the mods or it could be the main files of the game or both.

There could be too many but I know many people here have more installed so I wouldn't say it's the amount but rather a mod or two which could be incompatible with each other.

We have no idea what you have for a cpu.

Yes. Some mods are incompatible with each other, especially ones that mod the same thing. It's always best to make sure you've fully read the details, instructions and even the forums for a mod to see if there are reports with mods having issues with other things.

Yes. Some mods require dlc and that falls into reading the details and instructions as stated above.

You didn't really state whether or not it had worked at all with all the mods being installed. I think the game was just updated so that may have messed things up. Check your mods for updates too. It could be anything but your best bet would be to disable all mods then enable a few at a time to narrow down the cause.

And these questions go on daily here in all the different sections of the forum. Did you even look through the forums?
