Ixspar
I'm not a modder so I don't know what I'm asking but I'm going to ask anyway. As settlers come to my towns it would be nice if there were an indicator that shows unassigned settlers without having to go into build mode to see them. Is there anyway to have an indicator show above a settler's head or a red outline show around them...or something so it can readily be seen without having to get close to the person in build mode? When 20 peeps are running around an area checking each one to see who's new gets old. I understand in one of the DLCs there's a settlement manager to assign jobs, but these don't work with mods that allow new jobs, such as Northland Diggers. To assign settlers to those benches still requires finding them and posting them directly. ...or if the DLC manager isn't available to some, the search and assign job tasks continues. Yes, I messaged ludvig at Northland Diggers and asked if his job benches could be added to the settlement manager, as well. However, an indicator would work with or without the DLCs...hopefully. :)
Perraine
"Settlement Management Software" has a built in feature that allows to to "tag" unassigned settlers and they will appear as "quest markers" when you exit the software. "Settlement Aid Program" though quite old now, it still works (at least for vanilla FO4, can't speak for Far Harbor) it has a pair of glasses you can equip, that will highlight unassigned settlers with a bluish/whiteish glow.
