LE Request Ability to take everything from Lydia

Hi all!

I find it really ennoying that you can´t take Lydia´s stuff except her steelsword. The problem is following: If I don´t want her to use a bow, I take away the imperial bow, which I gave her. But then she uses a normal wooden bow and iron arrows. But they´re not in her inventory. And the most ennoying Problem: I gave her a full Imperial armor excluding helmet and including shield. But always after she used a bow and equips her sword again, she uses her normal steelshield and not the much better imperial one.

Is it possible to make a mod that lets you take ALL her gear?

Haven't used her, but that does sound kind of shitty :P Should be an official fix.

I don´t think so... I guess they did this because they don´t want us to take Lydia´s stuff. For example: You´re lvl 3 and get her... With lvl 3 you normally only got an iron armor or worse. But then you could take her Steel Armor... But it´s really enoying...

Lydia to target (see ID from lydia you have to) for me is 000A2C8E

"showinventory"

Now you can see their inventory. ID of weapons or write dresses (not the bad ID)

 

"additem ID" (item adds to the inventory of the NPC one)

"equipitem ID" (forces NPC to equip the particular item)

 

now with the following command to delete the old objects

"removeItem ID" (removed from the inventory items .. an NPC sometimes requires the latest clothes to be removed to replace them with new ones)

 

she already has new weapons and new clothing :thumbsup:

There´s only one bad thing... I used this to give Ysolda a nicer dress (I didn´t remove her old one from her inventory) and forced her to wear it by equipitem. But when I go outside the house and get inside again she´s wearing her normal dress again. And I guess if I removed it, she would be wearing nothing... (Eyecandy but would get stupid if she was always running around in underwear).
