I think the consensus is that markfordelete is the way to go although, oddly, I read a post once from someone who appeared to be quite knowledgeable who said that the engine can get confused when objects are deleted (as opposed to just disabled). But that's the only thing I've ever read about that and I've actually never read anything about anyone having a problem with markfordelete.

However, even with markfordelete, I always find it convenient to first use disable. That way, you can be sure you've actually clicked on the correct object in console (i.e. avoids something else disappearing that you didn't intend). If the correct object disappears, then simply follow up the disable command with markfordelete. If it doesn't disappear, because you clicked on something else accidentally, just follow up with the enable command to bring back the accidentally deleted thing and try again.

Of course, this doesn't address any underlying issues you might be having have that causes the glitchiness in the first place. (I don't use any of the mods you mentioned, so can't really comment on that.)

I'm wondering if markfordelete could be a problem in some cases where a mod would call a deleted reference, like in Tesedit with UDR.

Yeah, that's always been my concern with that command, and I think exactly what that one negative thing I read about markfordelete was getting at.

hmmmm.. i dont think ill have problems with clicking an item. whenever i open the console and click an item, it shows the item name and stuff like base ids. so yeah its cool. i think ill just use mark for delete. maybe that issue with mark for delete is like one in a million.. who knows? xD

anyway, thanks :) ill just reinstall the whole game and over 150 mods if ever it will effed up my whole game :\

Ok, that piqued my interest. Do you have a mod or something by which console clicking shows item name? Whenever I click in console (ever, in any Bethesda game) I just get base i.d., which might as well be latin since I typically don't know the base i.d. of the thing I'm targeting.
