twistedjester09
Continuation of http://www.thenexusforums.com/index.php?/topic/474165-calling-experienced-modders-skyrim-multiplayer/ Basically, all of the arguments why it couldn't be, unless you created a completely separate game, was that "online access" would not be possible. So first of all i wanted to add "Co-Op" as another feature along with PvP as an idea Second: is it possible, that instead of making it :"online" then, at least for now you could just play locally with a friend at your house, aka, two computers next to each-other. Or even, and this is kind of a stretch, but have a split screen multiplayer mod on one computer. Idk, i saw the original thread and the arguments, and had to make this one, if it is still not possible, please say so. Thanks

twistedjester09
why create a new topic on the subject if you have already found a very much alive one? Added co-op, and two solutions that i think are plausible at least, lrn2read
hogit
Yeah I was gonna make a new topic about this but then I found this post doing a search. I want to revive this question. Why don't we have an OFFLINE 2-player splitscreen mod already? Me and my girlfriend want to play together on my i7 Laptop since her laptop can't run Skyrim and we both wanna play it at the same time in the same game. Someone please make a hardcode hack to add this into the game. Limit travel of both players to the same cell. Make it like Fable's 2-player system but also splitscreen. So one player is the primary one and the 2nd player is an "add-on" player like a controllable companion that has to stay in the same cell or within a certain distance of the player and force teleport them to the player if they go out of that range. Also i'd like it if it was gamepad compatible. If no one wants to do this than plz point me to where I can learn how. A hack would be faster than making a completely new game in Unity 3D or CryEngine3 or the Unreal Engine.
GODSBANE123456
Well... to put it bluntly, the game only allows for one input method for user data... Online would never work for obvious reasons if you read the adjoining topic, and Offline wont work for similar reasons. Usually my ingenuity comes into play at this point and i delete my post then rewrite it saying how you could go about doing it, but in this particular case, there is no possible solution due to how Bethesda created it.
