Unfinished quests and check lists

I started off going through the entire game, and updating this check list based off what I had done. Then I realized there are a lot of things I wasn't sure of. Quests that aren't listed in the quest log or ones that are named differently. For the most part the list is useful but I have a question.

 

Is there any type of utility that can scan a save file and tell you what you have and haven't done? Or perhaps a mod I could use temporarily that would give me a more complete log of the quests I have done, and haven't? So I can at least get this check list updated as a starting point.

 

I am near the end of the game, and have completed most of the game content. I am now trying to knock out any misc and random quests, minor events and get all the books and bobbleheads. Just cleanup stuff before I move into the end game with some of the final quests.

 

Any advice, or anything that anyone else is using to track what they have and haven't completed?

if you scroll down on the quest list it shows all the competed quests. Not sure about failed quests. It is of course not possible to do everything with one character when you have to choose sides. To earn all of the achievements you need at least 3 characters maybe 4

It will list failed quests as well, or at least it did(I know, my first character has a failed quest).

There is this mod FallComplete - Automatically Track Quests - Locations - Magazines - Bobbleheads by kefka95

I haven't tried it with quests yet, but it works nicely for bobbleheads and magazines so far.
