SpellAndShield
I just killed him but what does the other option do? if you spare him?
Jackal2233
You get him as a companion, but personally I just prefered to kill him. Though... I might spare him next them, only to FUS RO DAH him off a cliff. He reminds me of the annoying fan. Edited November 25, 2011 by Jackal2233
RejectedCamel
You can make him your companion, other than that he doesn't serve any real purpose.
Draco856
He's the keeper, you shouldn't kill him...plus he gives me a few good laughs.

Controlspire
You can have your cake and eat it too with console codes. You can respawn a version of Cicero after you kill him that will never turn on you and keep him as a companion if you are running the game on PC. I have done much the same with my dear old wretched friend Astrid. Sure she tried to kill me...on numerous occasions, but that just endeared her more to me. heh After she tried to cope out by stabbing herself and burning herself alive to repent - I used my dead thrall spell to drag her back into the land of the living kicking and screaming. She looks nice and creepy following my character (Aeysa) and LeChance's Ghost around. razorpony
Interesting little Easter Egg I noticed... if you read through all of Cicero's journals when you're looking for clues on where to find him you'll read a part about his arena contract. Apparently he was contracted to kill the areana champion and did so by posing as an adoring fan then slitting the champions throat while they were out in the forest.
