BubbaThudd
Greetings all, I have downloaded a couple of mods which have placeable bunkbeds, but in-game they only count as one bed instead of two. Thoughts? Cheers, BT
Perraine
Greetings all, I have downloaded a couple of mods which have placeable bunkbeds, but in-game they only count as one bed instead of two. Thoughts? Cheers, BTBecause there is no animation in game for climbing up onto the top bunk, the top mattress cannot be used, so that's why they are only classed a 1 bed. It's purely for aesthetics to have bunk beds, nothing more. Well until someone creates a "Top Bunk" Animation Mod, but that would require some serious 3D animation skills. It's not "impossible" but it may not happen for a looooong time.
AnvilOfWar
Actually there are several mods that add bunk beds that DO count as 2 beds, it's just that the top bunk will not be used by anyone. This however doesn't make them useless, it just requires a bit of planning. Since both provisioners and guards assigned to guard posts require a "bed" for happiness, however they don't actually sleep in it. You can specifically assign a bed to a settler, as such assign all beds to those that are on food or scrap duty, for them to sleep in at night, while the top bunk will then provide for the guard or provisioners that don't sleep. radiumskull
Can the NPC Furniture object be modded so that the NPC can start at the floor level, then pop up to the top bunk level?
